Ceremony

Religious/non-denominational services are a wonderful way to tie the knot.  However, couples should keep in mind that these ceremonies do not change your marital status here in Mexico or back home.  If you’d like to do so at a later time, you may plan an additional ceremony with a justice of the peace in your country of origin or may do both the religious and civil ceremony here in Mexico.
Catholics may be married in the local parish church.  The couple must have a certificate from their own parish priest which states that they have completed the required pre-marital courses.
